EstiMate is an independent software platform created and operated by Dave Groom — a tradesman who worked his way from the tools up through site management, project management and contract management, delivering projects for some of the UK's largest principal contractors. After founding Tatton Projects and growing further businesses including SiloPod and Primo Vending, Dave built EstiMate out of frustration with how long professional quoting took — and a vision to give every tradesperson and contractor the tools to present themselves like a top-tier business. When you create an account, we collect your name, email address, and company details (address, phone, logo) that you choose to add. When you use EstiMate to build quotes, we store the job, customer, material, labour, and photo data you enter, along with any quotes or contracts you generate and share with your clients.
We use your data to operate the service: generating quotes and contracts, storing your materials catalog, processing payments via Stripe, and — if you use the AI Visualizer — sending your site photos to OpenAI to generate renovation visualizations. We do not sell your data to third parties.
When you share a quote or contract link with your client, they can view it and respond (accept, decline, request changes, or sign) without creating an account. We store their response and any message they submit so it can be shown back to you.
Supabase (database and authentication), Stripe (payments), OpenAI (AI Visualizer image generation), and Vercel (hosting). Each processes data only as needed to provide their service to us.
We retain your account and job data for as long as your account is active. You can request deletion of your account and associated data at any time by emailing support@esti-mate.app.
You can access, correct, or delete your personal data at any time. Contact us at support@esti-mate.app for any privacy request.
We may update this policy from time to time. We'll post the new version here with an updated date.
