University of Dundee
The University Estates and Campus Services Department will have several construction and projects to advance over the next five years which will require the selective input of external consultants, including M&E (Mechanical and Electrical) Design Services. The scope, standards, and expectations for the provision of M&E design works and associated services are to support the delivery of capital, refurbishment, and maintenance projects within Estates for the University of Dundee. The appointed M&E design consultant shall provide comprehensive design and specification information suitable for issue as part of tender documents, and support the project throughout the RIBA work stages 0 – 7 (project initiation – to completion) while ensuring construction projects deliver value for money, comply with statutory and procurement requirements, and support the University’s strategic estates objectives.

Ramsgate Town Council will be appointing a contractor to undertake internal refurbishment and alteration works to at Radford House. The works are located at the public facility in Ramsgate - previously the Old Fire Station, at 18-20 Effingham Street, Ramsgate, CT11 9AT. The internal works are part of a wider redevelopment of the site, which includes external alterations to the building, and temporary technicians accommodation (externals ongoing - internals to follow) The refurbishment is required to undertake repairs, and implement change of use from former fire station to public facillity. The contractor is to undertake refurbishment works as listed within the attached documents. All works shall be undertaken in accordance with the client's consultant's approval. One contractor will be appointed and must provide a responsive service, including 24-hour, 365-day emergency cover and travel between sites where required. Lot 3: Small Works valued between GBP 5,000 and GBP 50,000 - Lot 3 covers planned joinery works valued over GBP 5,000 and up to GBP 50,000. Between three and five contractors may be appointed, comprising Primary and Reserve Contractors. Requirements will normally be awarded through quotation or mini-competition, with the applicable award criteria and quality-to-price weighting confirmed for each requirement. The framework will operate for an initial period of 24 months, with the option to extend for a further two 12-month periods. Contractors must provide a safe, reliable and responsive service that supports clinical operations.
